Space Shovel

We went to see the final night launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor last night in Cape Canaveral. We found a great place and Aethan got to see the whole sky light up as it went in to the air. It's all he's talked about since. He asks me over and over "Can I be an astronaut and ride on the space shovel?" I don't tell him that they are no longer going to have space shuttles, but instead elevators that go up to space. He'll figure out all the realities later. All I know is that he's hooked on space now. We take living in Florida for granted sometimes.
